Artefacts from 1000 BC unearthed in Sohar.....The excavation team found bones, one of them of a man and another of a horse. This tomb was called ‘Knight and Horse Tomb’.The excavation work wit-hin the economic free zone project linked to the Sohar Industrial Port and towards the north of the ancient Falaj Al Souq area was done in 57 tombs that date back to 1000 BC and the beginning of 2000 BC .
