Tribute to His Majesty ...........Sablat Oman, the prime network in the Sultanate, launched the world’s largest marble mosaic portrait of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos yesterday at the Wave Muscat.
Sablat Oman came up with the concept of presenting His Majesty Sultan Qaboos on his 40th accession day with totally hand-made marble mosaic portrait.This portrait made an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest single portrait in the world.

The Procession of Loyalty and Gratitude arrived at the gathering point at Hisn al Shumoukh yesterday. It was organised by camel owners in the Sultanate to communicate their loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.Poets from within the camel owners recited poems articulating their allegiance to His Majesty and their joy on the occasion of the 40th National Day anniversary.Sayyid Ali said he was honoured to attend the grand procession of the sons of the beloved homeland on their camels backs to convey their devotion and appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and his wise leadership during the last forty years.

He also issues his directives to executive the development plans and programmes that guarantee the balanced growth between all the Sultanate's wilayats and regions, indicating that the book assured that the Sultanate is moving in the right path with stable steps for the sake of materializing more human resource and sustainable economic development in the future.
