Annual Report on International Religious Freedom 2010 Praises Oman.

The report pointed out that the Sultanate didn't witness any abuse or discrimination in terms of religion, belief or tradition, indicating that not less than One million people are living side by side with Omanis despite their different religious believes without any noticeable troubles.

The report highlighted the role of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said in this regard, that was recently crowned by setting up His Majesty's Chair of Abrahamic Religions and Joint Values in Cambridge University, in addition to, promoting and organizing training courses in Cambridge University in the field of dialogue amongst followers of religions, as well as, establishing websites, availing training to imams and receiving delegations from various religions. The report also praised the role of the Sultanate's government that boosts the dialogue by hosting international intellectuals and scholars across the world to give lectures and seminars, in addition to, availing them opportunities to conduct researches about Islam in the Sultanate.
