Barakat al Harthy produced a sensational run to bag a historic bronze medal after a scintillating performance in the 100m final at the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou,Barakat’s bronze, which put Oman on the medal table, is the Sultanate’s first medal at the Asiad since Al Malky won the 400m gold at the Beijing Asian Games in 1990.
